Bucks County has had a long and distinguished history steeped
in the arts and agriculture. So the pairing of the fruits
of the local vines and the music inherently American is a
natural alliance. The Jazz and Wine Festival, to be presented
as three separate events at three separate times in June,
August and September, is a celebration and a toast to the
people and spirit of Bucks County.
The talents of local Pennsylvanian
vintners will be represented and their wares enjoyed as local,
national and international artists ply their craft in the
beautiful environs of the county. Quakertown, New Hope and
the county seat of Doylestown are the municipalities that
will host the venues. This triangle in the county will provide
residents and visitors with a memorable experience for the
pallet and the ear.
The music will be as multifaceted as
the county itself as artists of every genre in jazz as well
as outstanding student groups from county schools improvise,
scat and swing through a season that will prove to be as historic
as Bucks County itself.
So please join us in celebrating the
music, the wines and the good times that make Bucks County
a meeting place for those who enjoy the finer things in life.
Join us this summer for the Bucks County Jazz and Wine Festival
2009!
